"Plants trees, harvest happiness" Successfully planted the 20,000 plant at Millaniya Imbulhena School. The plant was planted by the Brand Manger of Slon Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, Mr. Ishan Fernando.

Name : Thuru Kepakaru Tree Planting Programme with Students of University of Sri Jayewardenapura

A "Thuru Kapakaru" tree planting program was implemented on 10.10.2024 at Anuradhapura Sidhdhartha Vidyalaya in conjunction with the "Akurata Atwelak" project organized by the Department of Sociology of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura for the third consecutive time. The lecturers of the university, students and students of the school all planted trees after pledging to be the trees guardians and to look after and nurture the trees.

Here, Mr. Narada Godage and Mr. Priyanath Madushanka, the regional sales representative of Slon Lanka Pvt. Ltd., the principal teachers of Mahindodaya College, parents and children taking care of the plants together planted more than 100 plants in the school grounds under the guardian system.

There too, the children of the school planted plants in the school grounds under the guardian system

Another phase of the Thuru Kapakaru tree planting program was carried out at Welimada Dambawinna Medgedaragama College until Slon Lanka Pvt. Ltd. and News First jointly implemented it. This program was organized by the Welimada Retired Veterans Association.
